MEMBERSHIP
Participation in Conference business shall be limited to those holding active
credentials with the Eastern Ontario District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of
Canada and lay delegates with current letters from delegates/churches so
identifying them as official representatives. All members of the Conference must
register with the Roster Committee.
CONFERENCE BAR
All members participating in the Conference business must do so from within the
Conference Bar as determined by resolution of this Conference.
ADDRESSING THE CHAIR
All members speaking to the Conference must address their remarks to the Chair.
After standing, moving to an aisle microphone and addressing the Chairman, the
member shall wait to be recognized by the Chair before proceeding to speak.
Dialogue on the Conference floor is not permitted.
SPEAKING TO A MOTION
When speaking to a motion, a member is expected to complete his or her
remarks and then refrain from speaking again to the same motion until all others
who so wish may do so.
ALTERNATE SPEAKERS
After one member has spoken to a motion, the same motion should not be
spoken to by another speaker until opportunity has been made for a member to
speak in opposition to the motion, if there should be such.
PUNCTUALITY
Members of the Conference are requested to be in their chosen places within the
Bar at the commencement of the session. Moving in and out of the Bar is
distracting and should be avoided.
MOBILE PHONES
All audible ringers on mobile phones are to be silenced when the conference is in
session.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
All public announcements must be submitted to the Conference Secretary in
writing. All such announcements must be made from the podium.
